We The People
Suddenly, we find ourselves living in an era where many are wondering just what happened to the freedoms Americans were supposed to have. In other parts of the world, people are being, or have recently been, brutally repressed by violent means. Rubber bullets are fired into crowds, while peaceful protesters have been tear gassed, beaten by police, or, in some places, run over by police vehicles driven at high speeds.
And I must ask, what right does any governmental body have to initiate violence against the people that is has supposedly promised to protect?
